Well here we are at the end of a very long, but satisfying day. The shop was opened a little after 2.00pm by film director, Dominic Burns. A small crowd of people gathered for the opening and the local paper, the Derby Telegraph came along to record the event. Mu Ludlow provided party rolls, and tea and coffee was offered to all our customers. A big thank you to Mu, Fay, Joanne, Melissa, Nathan, Keighley, Jay and Lesley, Reenie we could not have done it without your help.

Our new Charity and Tea Room shop opens up on Saturday 8th October 2011 at 2pm. The shop will be at 5 Uttoxeter Old Road, the site of the old Infusion Sandwich Bar. It is a beautiful old building which has been redecorated for our use. We have a special guest to open the shop, Dominic Burns, the director of the new Jean Claude Van Dam movie being shot around Derby and Derbyshire.
