Welcome to the New Zealand Community Association website, This is the place to find out what is going on in the New Zealand Community Area.

Lots of activities take place at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Centre for people of all ages, from dancing to martial arts, brazilian drums & cheerleading.

The Association runs a family bingo night every friday. Starting at 7:00pm till 9:00pm. All are welcome. A book of Five Games costs £2.50 then we have a refreshment break then 2 fliers at £1.00 each. The more that attend the bigger the cash prize, Come along and make new friends

All proceeds are going towards the installation of a kitchen at the Community Centre.

New Zealand Sponsored Walk - Markeaton Park - 26.5.12 By Mandy on 29/04/2012

Our next event is a Sponsored Walk on Markeaton Park on Saturday 26th May 2012. Starting at 11.00am and ending at 2.00pm. You can do up to 10 laps. (as many or as few as you wish) around the Orangery.

Sponsor forms were included in the April edition of the New Zealand Times, but can also be obtained from either of the Charity Shops, Campion St, and Uttoxeter Old Road or the Community Centre on a Friday evening from 6.30pm.

So please join us, and make this event a big success, we are getting closer to our final total for our Kitchen Fund and hope to see work starting within the next six months.

Quiz Night - 28th April By Mandy on 29/04/2012

The New Zealand Community Quiz Night, held at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, was held last night, and enjoyed by all. Six teams entered the competition to win £50.00 prize money.

The winners were The Star Whores team. Well done to them and a big thank you to all who helped make the night a success - Joanne, Reenie, Melissa, Pat, Mu and Fay and especially Samantha who organised the Quiz and did all the hard work putting the quiz together.

Quiz Night - 28.4.12 By Mandy on 11/04/2012

We will be holding a Quiz Night on Saturday 28th April starting at 7.00pm at the Lonny Wilsoncroft Community Centre, Stepping Lane. There will be a Bar and Refreshments on sale.

You can have up to 6 people in your team. It is £1.50 per person to enter the quiz. Prize Money for the team that wins is £50.00.

So come along and have some fun!
