The day started at 10.00am, when the doors of the Lonny Wilsoncroft were opened to the public for our first event using our new big screen and projector.

Around 60 people attended the event, along with a reporter and photographer from the Derby Telegraph. We sat down and settled in to watch the big event at 11.00am.

What a beautiful bride and an outstanding occasion! We showed the world what we do best! After the ceremony the buffet was opened and all enjoyed the lovely food.

A big thank you to Mu and Faye for the sandwiches, and to everyone else for the rest of the food.

Following the balcony scene and the inevitable kiss, we started a disco, with games for the kids, a fancy dress competition, and the ladies best hat competition.

Although this event was not a fund raising event as such, but a community event, we still raised £120.00 on the bar and the raffle, which will go towards our kitchen installation fund.
