Don't forget clean up day Thursday 25th August. Meet at the Lonny Wilsoncroft for 11 am. We will be out for about an hour and then back to the Lonny for a bacon/sausage cob and a drink and a chance to meet your MP Amanda Solloway. If you would just like to come and meet the MP that will be from around 12 noon. We hope to see you there.

A Resident asked a question at the last Residents meeting of the Councillors present, which was, 'Were the Council going to come and spray the weeds that are growing up in the gutters and at the base of alot of the houses in the terraced streets of the New Zealand area'. We were informed that the Council no longer provide this service. You will probably all have seen the mess our streets are becoming because of this problem and so the NZCA along with our local MP Amanda Solloway will be having a clean up day - mostly pulling out these weeds on Thursday 25th August starting at 11am. A big thank you to all who attended our last fundraiser, the Race Night at the Lonny Wilsoncroft. It was a great event and we raised £104.76. Thanks to all who came along and supported us, and also to all those who volunteered their time to run the event. The next event is the big one - Gala Day on Cheviot St Recreation Ground. Saturday 16th July between 11 and 4pm.
