The New Zealand Community Association is celebrating Christmas in a big way this year. For the first time the Community Centre will be lit up inside and out for the festive season. We are hoping to hold an event on Handford St Park, and to coincide with that, we are launching our Decorate a Christmas Window Competition.
We have chosen the theme of the song The 12 days of Christmas. So you could pick one of the 12 days or do all of them. Its up to you. You will be able to enter our competition by filling out an application form (available nearer the time, through the New Zealand Community Times and the charity shops), then the residents of New Zealand will be told which houses are taking part and will during a one week period be able to judge their favourite window, when all the votes have been counted we will announce our winner and they will receive a £20.00 Homebase Voucher.
So get your thinking caps on, and join in our fun competition, which will also brighten up our neighbourhood during this festive season.
